New Home for Bioengineering: Groundbreaking for Skirkanich Hall is set for October
17, 2003. The 58,400-square-foot bioengineering research and teaching facility
is named for University Trustee and Penn Engineering Overseer Peter Skirkanich,
W’65, and his wife, Geri, whose $10 million gift to the bio-engineering initiative
helped make the building possible.
