Reunion Giving 2002: A Tradition of Pride and Purpose

In a year of special challenge, Alumni Weekend 2002 not only demonstrated the
strength of the Penn community, but also affirmed that the spirit of generosity at
the University of Pennsylvania is alive and well. Clearly, Penn alumni do understand
the "importance of giving back," with three reunion classes-1947, 1952, and 1957-
setting new giving records and three reunion classes-1937, 1982, and 2002-setting
new donors records.
