Welcome Penn Staff and Alumni Ambassadors! Volunteer Form | Admissions Interviews Overview | Evolution of ACA Interviews Fall 2009 SSC Chair Update Newsletter .................... Alumni Secondary School Committee Network The Alumni Secondary School Committee (SSC) is a network of alumni volunteers organized by the Office of Admissions. Alumni actively recruit students for Penn, represent the University at college fairs, and conduct interviews with prospective students. While many committees are currently well-staffed and active, additional volunteers are welcome. Please submit your information, as requested on the volunteer form, to The Admissions Office via ssc@admissions.upenn.edu. Within several weeks, you will be mailed orientation materials and contact information for an alumni chair in your area.Alumni who have a child or grandchild considering an application to Penn are asked to not volunteer, or perhaps prohibited from volunteering, for the SSC until after the student has received a final admissions decision. .................... Evolution of Legacy Interviews: Alumni volunteers with the Secondary Schools Committee (SSC) will continue to offer interviews as part of the undergraduate application process. This is a wonderful alumni effort which personalizes the application process for many high school seniors. For additional details, please visit Evolution of ACA Interviews. ....................
