Congrats to Jasmine Pérez C’08 NU’08 GNU’10, elected last week to the ALA Board of Director to fill an existing vacancy. Jasmine, former president of ACELA and recipient of the ALA Alumni Student Leadership Award in 2008, becomes the most recent graduate on the board and possibly the board member most active on campus. Jasmine, who became a RN last spring, continues at Penn at the Graduate School of Nursing pursing a MSN in Women’s Health and Midwifery. She is a graduate advisor in the Latin American Residential program and an active presence at La Casa Latina. ¡Bienvenida y buena suerte!
