Latino alumnus, Joe Andronaco, WG'01, President of USA Technology Services,
was recently selected as an honoree in the Washington Business Journal's Minority
Business Leaders awards program. The awards honor the entrepreneurial drive,
creativity and success of Washington D.C. business leaders and owners. Joe
has been President of USA Technology Services since the fall of 2004, during
which time the company has exhibited a 50% average annual rate of revenue growth.
Most of the 80+ USA Technology employees are tradesmen/technicians for whom
access to either business management education or skills-updating has been
difficult, and for whom leadership training was out of the question.
