Picnic Information
Gather at Hill Square, College Green, and Wynn Commons for this year's Alumni Day Picnic. The Picnic will feature tents for alumni from each decade, plus separate tents for the Old Guard, 25th and 50th Reunion classes, and graduating seniors with their parents and families. Throughout the Picnic, enjoy a range of professional entertainment as well as student performing arts groups. Buffet-style lunch with kosher meals available in each tent.

Parade
While picnicking, watch President Amy Gutmann, along with the Penn Band and Glee Club, lead the Old Guard, 25th and 50th Reunion classes, and class leaders through the heart of campus. Whether marching or cheering, all alumni and their families will participate in this proud Penn tradition, culminating in a rousing rendition of The Red and Blue.

This year's Parade Marshall, Craig Sweeten, W'37 from Sarasota, Fla., will have the honor of overseeing the parade festivities from the reviewing stand as he celebrates his own 70th Reunion. Mr. Sweeten has served as President of his class every year since his days as an undergraduate and has led his classmates in reunion efforts for 14 quinquennial gatherings. He served as Penn's Senior VP for Development and Public Relations from 1976 at the start of the Program for the Eighties until his retirement in 1981. On the occasion of his retirement, the Trustees of the University dedicated the E. Craig Sweeten Alumni House in his honor and awarded Mr. Sweeten the Alumni Award of Merit for his professional accomplishments and his many years of service to Penn.

Kids Corner
Set on Hill Square, arts and crafts will keep children amused and entertained during the Picnic.

FunZone
Families will find additional activities for kids of all ages on College Green during the Picnic.

Class of 2007 and Parents of Graduating Seniors Tent
Graduating seniors in the Class of 2007 and their parents will have their own tent at the Alumni Day Picnic on Hill Square. Seniors who contribute to the Class Gift Drive are admitted to the Picnic for free but should register at www.seniorgiftdrive.com. Parents should register through the Parents Program website at www.pennparents.org or call 215-746-4646.
