ARTHUR ROSS GALLERY
Speaker: John Moore
Thirteen Miles from Paradise
by John Moore

This exhibition of industrial landscape paintings by John Moore executed over the last three decades focuses on sites from Ohio to Maine, including Coatesville, PA, a locale that specifically inspired American Modernists. Moore has revisited places that he painted twenty years ago, and his most recent paintings depict changes that have occurred in Coatesville.

KROIZ GALLERY, ARCHITECTURAL ARCHIVES
Speaker: William Whitaker, GAR'96, Collections Manager
Philadelphia Modernism Rediscovered:
Residential Visions at Midcentury

Working in the shadow of the so-called "Philadelphia School" — an internationally recognized group of architects and planners that centered on Louis I. Kahn — a vibrant, regional architecture extending the principles of the Modern Movement developed and flourished throughout the region. Presented through archival drawings and artifacts as well as new photography, this exhibition shows a diversity and wealth of modern expression in the Philadelphia area.

INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY ART
Speaker: Kate Kraczon, Curatorial Assistant

Dirt on Delight: Impulses That Form Clay
Discover 22 artists who create significant works in clay and run across the full spectrum of conventional delineations between fine arts, crafts and outsider practices. In bringing them together around a unifying material and the concept of impulse, this exhibition poses an approach to issues surrounding the concept of craft itself.
Pathways to Unknown Worlds: Sun Ra, El Saturn & Chicago's Afro-Futurist Underground 1954-1968
This exhibition showcases a diverse, brilliant, provocative and by-and-large never seen range of materials related to pianist, bandleader, mystic, philosopher and Afro-Futurist Sun Ra.
Tavares Strachan

Odili Donald Odita: Third Space
