Why Join BAS?
The BAS network consists of over 10,000 living alumni around the world. Membership in BAS, affords you the benefits of an enduring connection to your classmates and the family of Black alumni from 12 top-notch schools within the University. With chapters in Atlanta, the District of Columbia, New York City and Philadelphia, you can engage and meet up with fellow alumni where you live, work and serve your local community.

Network ... Mentor ... Ensure the Legacy

How Do I Join?
Recent graduates (within 5 years of graduation) receive the gift of free membership for one year. Other BAS alumni may renew their membership on an annual basis for $50 or pay a one-time fee to become a lifetime member for $300.

Sign up online through QuakerNet, the Penn Alumni Online Community (NOTE: To access the online form, you will be prompted to log in), or complete our paper membership form (PDF).

Lifetime Membership
Every lifetime member receives a beautifully appointed watch with the BAS insignia. The names of lifetime members are listed in every publication of the quarterly BAS Newsletter and receive reserved entry and seating at all BAS functions.
