Launching a Legacy
Our 60th reunion is a time to remember our Penn experience and the opportunities it afforded us. By giving back to Penn in honor of this reunion, we can ensure that the University will continue to provide these opportunities to generations to come.
We have set the ambitious fundraising goal of raising a total of $370,000 from 200 classmates because we know the Class of 1948 is up to the challenge. Our class gifts — to be divided between our class scholarship and The Penn Fund — as well as gifts of individual scholarships will allow us to reach this impressive goal.
* Class Project: $150,000
Our 60th reunion project will raise $150,000 for The Class of 1948
Scholarship Fund, in memory of Anthony "Skip" Minisi, dedicated to funding the undergraduate education of talented Penn students with financial need.
* Unrestricted Support of The Penn Fund: $70,000
As the University's only fund dedicated solely to supporting the priorities of undergraduate education at Penn, The Penn Fund will put $70,000 of our class gifts to work immediately supporting student aid, campus improvements, classroom technology, student life activities and much more.
* Individual Scholarships: $150,000
In addition to class gifts, we are counting on our classmates to endow individual scholarships or add to existing individual scholarships to support the financial need of Penn students.
We encourage you to be a part of our class's legacy by making your gift in honor of this memorable reunion year. Your participation at any level counts for our class and for Penn students. Together we can make history!
