Class of 1961: Pedie Killebrew, C'61, Furthers Nursing Education
Norma Peden "Pedie" Killebrew, CW '61, (second

Marjorie O. Rendell, CW '69, First Lady of
Pennsylvania, at the ceremonial groundbreaking for the
beginning of a series of renovations to the Nursing
Education Building that is now over 30 years old.
Pedie, who is co-chair of the Campaign Committee for
renovation of the building, reports that they have
successfully raised $8.5 million for Phase 1 which is
slated to be completed by fall 2005. $1.5 million has
already been raised for Phase 2 of this three phase $40
million project. Pedie's husband Bob, WG '64, and
daughter Margaret, NU'97, GNU'98, are also avid
supporters of Penn Nursing. Classmates who want
