Classes and Reunions
Class of 1969 Projects
The Class of 1969 has always set records for alumni
donor participation in our reunion years. For our 25th reunion,
634 classmates raised $2.1 million dollars for Penn. Of that amount,
$1.2 million in unrestricted dollars went to our class project
for the renovation of the Periodicals section of the Van- Pelt
Deitrich Library and also directly to Penn students through scholarship
and financial aid. The remainder of restricted dollars funded
various projects throughout the University.
For our 30th reunion, from 485 classmates, we raised in total
$2.6 million dollars of which $1.4 million of unrestricted monies
funded the Class of 1969's classroom in Logan Hall plus undergraduate
scholarships and financial aid. The remainder of restricted monies
again funded several important University projects.
Now, for our 35th reunion, we have a participation level of over
450 alumni. Please join us as we try to set a new record of participation
among the alumni of the Class of 1969 to fund the Hill
Field Landscape Project, plus undergraduate scholarships and
financial aid. Time is limited. Please
give generously now!
