Classes and Reunions
The Class of 1969 Helps
Beautify the West Philadelphia Community
The centerpieces for our 35th Reunion dinner, "Raspberry Glow" Kalmia, were purchased by the Class of 1969 for UC Green, a not-for-profit neighborhood greening initiative. They were planted on Saturday, May 15 in a West Philadelphia neighborhood as a gift from our class to the community.

Dear Mary Ellen,
On behalf of the members of the University City community
and those that pass through when driving on Baltimore
Avenue, thank you for the Class of 1969's contribution
of Kalmia latifolias to one of UC Green's educational
public landscapes. Your support helps us enhance these
historically thematic gardens and provide a beautiful
focal point for passers-by.
If you are interested in learning more about UC Green,
please visit our website: www.ucgreen.org.
Thank you again for your generous support.
Sincerely,
Amanda Benner
