After working at Steve & Barry's for 7 months after graduation, I was offered an extended work assignment in Mumbai, India. From February 2007 to September 2007, I lived and worked almost entirely in Mumbai. Professionally, I worked with various departments in our Mumbai-based office to maximize efficiency of internal department processes and to improve communication protocols between the Mumbai and New York offices.

Personally, I took advantage of the opportunity to be immersed in Indian culture by traveling extensively throughout India; celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, and many other festivals; and getting my fill of some of the best food in the world. I also traveled to Thailand, where I soaked in the vibrancy of Bangkok and the sun of Koh Samui.
