What is the Senior Class Gift Drive?
The Senior Class Gift Drive is a longstanding Penn tradition that is part of The Penn Fund. It unites the class and encourages us to give something back to the University that has given us so much over the past four years.

Who is in the charge of the gift drive?
The Gift Drive is coordinated by three Class Gift Chairs and the Gift Drive Committee (all volunteers) in conjunction with The Penn Fund.

What are our class goals?
Dr. Gutmann challenged us to have 60% of the class make a gift of $5 or more and to raise $60,000. This will be a new record!

Where does the money go?
Senior Class Giving supports The Penn Fund , the University's undergraduate annual fund that supports undergraduate's most immediate needs. Your gift helps support financial aid, keeping computer labs and residential life up to par, academic programs and centers like CURF and Kelly Writer's House and student activities that make a difference in the lives of today's students and tomorrow's leaders.

How much should I give?
EVERY gift is important. We encourage gifts of $5 and more. For a gift of $250 or more, your name will be engraved on a plaque. For $250, you also become a member of the Benjamin Franklin Society, Penn's elite leadership giving society. If every senior in your club/organization makes a gift of $5 or more, your group name will be engraved on the plaque.

How many seniors usually give to the gift drive?
Each year it varies depending on the unity and dedication of the class! We want to break the Class of 2004's record of 1256 donors with approximately 1350 members of '06.

How can I get involved in helping with the gift drive?
We still need committee members! Contact one of the Gift Chairs, Kyle De Dionisio, Christina Martin, Rebecca or Assistant Director of Student Advancement, Meredith Seidel, at meseidel@ben.dev.upenn.edu.
