Members of BFS form the most critical base of support for the University and serve as a powerful motivator for garnering greater alumni participation in The Penn Fund. Through their vision and generosity, members of the Benjamin Franklin Society are an inspiration and example to others. Last year nearly half of the dollars '06 raised were from BFS donors (only 6.3% of all donors). Young alumni join BFS for a discounted rate, but the benefits are the same. Benefits of BFS Membership: · University Recognition: Thank you note from the President. BFS membership continues for a year after we graduate, so even more great events will take place then! To become a member of the Benjamin Franklin Society, you need not make your entire gift at one time.
