· We are always looking for volunteers to conduct interviews with Penn applicants. If
you’re not sure if you’re right for the job, consider this: New interviewers are provided
with instructions. The only prerequisite is a desire to tell others about Penn and to
socialize. You can interview as many or as few students as you like. Interviews are
conducted at a mutually agreeable time and place in the general area where you live.
An interview lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. For more details, contact John R.
O’Toole, C’78, Vice President and Secondary School Chairperson, (412) 234-1938
[work].
· If you would like to get more involved in the club, if
you have suggestions, comments, or complaints, or for all other
matters (including corrections to the Club Directory), contact
Ed Breaux, FAS ’77, GEAS ’80, President, (724) 935-9401 [home],
ebreaux@pghpioneers.com.
· A great way to become more familiar with the club is to just attend our monthly
luncheon downtown at the HYP Club, at 619 William Penn place. It is held at noon on
the first Thursday of each month. Feel free to attend even if you are not a dues-paying
member.
· Make certain we can contact you! If you are not currently
receiving e-mail messages from the club, such as monthly luncheon
reminders and our e-Newsletter (3-4 times a year), then send your
e-mail address to: ebreaux@pghpioneers.com.
Please specify “Penn Alumni E-mail Address” on the subject line.
· Don't have e-mail access? Why not ask a relative or friend if you can use their
address? When we send them e-mail, they can call you up and give you the latest
news. A lot is happening, so take advantage of e-mail notification to be a part of it.
