Cultural District Walking Tour with Anne Robb, PhD, Docent from the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation. (Optional Post-Tour Lunch)

The Penn Club is sponsoring a walking tour of the Cultural District (Penn & Liberty Avenues area) in downtown Pittsburgh, hosted by Anne Robb, PhD, a seasoned Docent with the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation (www.phlf.org). The Tour will begin promptly at the Agnes R. Katz Plaza located at 7th Street and Penn Avenues in downtown Pittsburgh (http://www.pgharts.org/art/katz.aspx). See the place where dance, music, theater, and more, come to life. We will learn about the vision and development of this unique social, artistic, and community asset. We also will learn about the origins and specialties of the city's arts venues. They play host to the best of the performing arts as well as exhibitions, from around the world, the country, and the region.

Following the tour, there will be an option to head out to a nearby lunch venue at 12:30 p.m.
