Did You Know... that 'tis the season for Penn to light the 300 snowflake lights on the trees lining Locust Walk? Now in their fifth year, the snowflakes have become somewhat of a tradition, marking the holiday season and adding a pleasant nighttime glow to the already picturesque Locust Walk. When asked about the snowflake lanterns that line the tops of trees on Locust Walk, College sophomore Jordan Cohen says, "they're pretty awesome."

Did You Know... that the archives of Venturi Scott Brown Associates (VSBA), a premier architectural firm, are being donated to Penn's Architectural Archives? The VSBA archives chronicle 40 years and consist of project records, including drawings, models, reports, manuscripts, correspondence and other related material. Also included are teaching records of Robert Venturi, HON'80, and Denise Scott Brown, MCP'60, MA'65, HON'90, at Penn and other institutions. Both have served on the faculty of Penn's Graduate School of Fine Arts -- now PennDesign -- and both have served as Penn overseers, Venturi at PennDesign and Scott Brown at the Library. [more]
