Institute of Contemporary Art 118 South 36th Street Pictures, Patents, Monkeys, and More… Works from the Robert J. Shiffler contemporary art collection, patent models from the U.S. Patent Office, and vintage sock monkeys. Also includes rarely seen works from the University of Pennsylvania Museum's Dillwyn Parrish Collection of Egyptian treasures. Damián Ortega, Cosmic Thing Damián Ortega, in his first solo museum exhibition, presents
a photograph and sculptural installation that slyly comments on perceptions of
Mexican culture and identity.
Amy Cutler Amy Cutler's finely crafted and highly detailed drawings create a world of
mystery and humor.
Kimowan
McLain Kimowan McLain creates a site-specific work for ICA's Ramp Project, an area connecting the first and second floor galleries. McLain's works focuses on issues of Native North American identity, culture and politics.

University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology 3260 South Street Guided Highlights Tours Travel through time and across the continents as you visit world-renowned galleries filled with extraordinary artifacts from ancient Egypt, Greece, Mesopotamia, Asia, Africa, Polynesia, and the Americas.

Photographic Explorations:
A Century of Images in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania Museum 1st floor, Merle-Smith Changing Gallery.
More than 60 black-and-white photographs offer a kaleidoscopic view of a sampling of the nearly 400 field projects in the Museum's history, including images
from famous expeditions to the Amazon (1913-1916); Memphis, Egypt (1915-1923); Ur in Iraq (1922-34); Tikal, Guatemala (1956-1970); and Gordion, Turkey,
where the Museum continues field work
it began in 1950.

Arthur Ross Gallery 220 South 34th Street Antiquity Recovered: Pompeii and Herculaneum in Philadelphia Collections The influence of 18th century discoveries in the Bay of Naples on European and American cultures is explored with special reference to the importance of archaeological excavations to Philadelphia.

Architectural Archives of the University of Pennsylvania Fisher Fine Arts Bldg., 220 South 34th St. From the Ground Up: Approaches to Architecture and Landscape Design The skyscraper serves as the point of departure in this exhibition, which documents the search for meaningful form in architecture and landscape design. The exhibit spans from early NY skyscrapers through proposed scenarios for Ground Zero.
Off the Wall: by Robinson Fredenthal The thousands of paper models by Robinson Fredenthal, GAR'63, document a lifetime of his geometric explorations. "Off the Wall" refers to the artist's studio walls, which have been reconstructed for this exhibition.
