ARTS|CULTURE
Whether you take the Penn Gallery Hop or explore on your own, be sure to spend some time savoring the arts and cultural life of the University. Gallery Hop participants will enjoy director/curator-led tours of exhibitions at the Arthur Ross Gallery, Kroiz Gallery, Kamin Gallery, Addams Gallery, and ICA.
Alumni are also welcome to view the Galleries on their own, including exhibitions at the University Museum and Penn Library. Check out, too, the concerts at Irvine and the Annenberg Center, and a variety of student performances throughout campus.

Travels in the Interior of North America:
The Maximilian-Bodmer Expedition
Forty-one rare hand-colored engravings derived from the original 1834-1843 plates, the work of Swiss artist Karl Bodmer offers a rich historic look at interior North America and native peoples in the early 1830s. Bodmer created the source art for these plates during an 1832-1834 trip across North America with Prussian scholar-aristocrat (anthropologist and naturalist, too) Prince Maximilian. A small selection of related Native American artifacts of the period from Penn Museum's collection supplements the exhibition.
