Oh Fresh!
The once common ritual of Freshman initiation gave rise to a little-known documentary genre: the Freshman Broadside. Posters and artifacts from this rite of passage are on view in this unique private collection of Peter Zinman. The exhibit includes examples from Penn's own archives — some more than 100 years old.

"Fulfilling a Prophecy: The Past and Present of the Lenape in Pennsylvania" features more than 60 objects from the private collections of the Lenape, and about a dozen from the collections of the Penn Museum. Articles include ancient masks, dolls, jewelry, and other traditional arts as well as a number of early 19th century family heirlooms. Co-curated by the chief and the tribal secretary of the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania, the exhibit includes a short video on the activities and aspirations of the Lenape today.
