penn nursing top-ranked Penn Nursing Top-Ranked by U.S. News & World Report
Penn Nursing was named the top private university in the nation for 2007 in recent polling by U.S. News & World Report, placing the School third overall. All of Penn's evaluated nursing specialties were ranked in the top five — including three considered the best in the nation.
Penn Launches Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program
The state Board of Nursing unanimously gave approval to Penn Nursing to begin the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program (PMH-NP). The School will begin admitting students immediately with first classes beginning in May 2007. With the addition of the PMH-NP program, Penn Nursing now offers 17 masters level advanced practice nursing programs for clinical, management, and leadership preparation, including 11 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania approved certified nurse practitioner programs.

life program - new homeLIFE Program Moves into New Home
After months of planning and high anticipation, LIFE opened its doors at 4508 Chestnut Street on April 2nd to serve 310 members and their families in the community! LIFE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) that provides services to older adults who would otherwise need nursing home care while they remain in the community in their own home or the home of loved ones. Join us for a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, May 1st at the new LIFE facilities!
