Residential Experience

The Penn Fund immediately directs gifts from alumni to four priority areas that most impact the quality of learning and life for all undergraduate students at Penn: student financial aid, residential experience, student life and academic support, and special University initiatives.

A student’s residential experience is crucial to his or her education as it defines their home for four years – a place to visit with friends, cram for finals, and plan student activities. The maintenance and improvement of these homes including dorm buildings and college houses is a priority for the University. Gifts to The Penn Fund support such projects as refurbishing residential study areas and renovations to student rooms. Penn relies on your support to turn these structures into homes for our students.

A total of 24% of Penn Fund dollars directly and immediately support the residential experience at Penn.
