Student Life and Academic Support

The Penn Fund immediately directs gifts from alumni to four priority areas that most impact the quality of learning and life for all undergraduate students at Penn: student financial aid, residential experience, student life and academic support, and special University initiatives.

The Penn experience is so much more than classes and dorms – it includes student life and academic support. Penn students are involved in a myriad of clubs and activities that enliven the University campus and foster learning. The Penn Fund is proud to support these programs through gifts from alumni and friends. A portion of these gifts are directed toward Penn's "learning hubs" such as Kelly Writers House, Civic House, Weiss Tech House, and the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships.

A total of 16% of Penn Fund dollars directly and immediately support student life and academic support at Penn.
