How to join a club listserv

University of Pennsylvania alumni are now eligible to begin signing up for their club listservs. This is your opportunity to begin automatically sending messages to -- and receiving messages from -- everyone in your area who has signed up for the listserv.

How can you be sure that you will not get unwanted messages?
That your messages go to club members and no one else?

Because our club lists are moderated by Alumni Relations, we will not allow anyone but members of your club to subscribe to the list, and we will not permit inappropriate messages to be sent to the list.

To sign up for your club listserv, send an e-mail message to listserv@lists.upenn.edu with a blank subject line and the text

subscribe PENNMINN <your name>

 as the body of the message. Remember:
  • substitute your own name where is says your name, and
  • please omit the brackets.
For example: if your name is Sally Smith, your e-mail to listserv@lists.upenn.edu should have no subject line, and should look like this:
subscribe PENNMINN Sally Smith

Please note that PENNMINN does not have spaces in it.
