Connie Duckworth MBA Wharton and Penn Trustee, made history as the first female sales and trading partner at Goldman Sachs. In 2002, she was asked to join the U.S.-Afghan Women’s Council, a bipartisan commission formed to insure Afghan women a voice in post-Taliban Afghanistan. Returning from a trip to Afghanistan in 2003, where she witnessed the indescribable hardships women faced, she outlined the vision for Arzu: a nonprofit that would help empower women and operate on a sustainable economic model. She provided seed capital for the first year of operations and currently oversees Arzu’s operations.

In collaboration with Career Services, TCPW is hosting an interview workshop designed specifically for women: "Interview Do’s and Don’ts" Join panelists from Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Google, and Macy's (Bloomingdale’s division), as they offer their insights on key things to do and not do at an interview, as well as discuss ways to stand out on an initial interview. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, as well as meet and mingle with the panelists. TCPW member Jennifer Krevitt C'86 L'92 will be representing.
