Tudor Place is a Federal mansion in Georgetown, on a 5½-acre landscaped acres registered as a National Historic Landmark. A model of Federal-period architecture, it stood at the center of early Washington society. Our tour will feature a special focus on Women, Love and Property, examining the lives, legal status, and milieu of women through the history of the property. From the granddaughter of Martha Washington, through four generations who presided over the estate, women fulfilled traditional roles and carved new ones here through marriage, motherhood, and widowhood.

Join us for a walk through American history at the Anderson House, a national historic landmark and the international headquarters of the Society of Cinncinati. Established in 1783, as the American War for Independence drew to a close, the Society of the Cincinnati is the oldest private patriotic organization in the United States. In the spring of 1905, Anderson House was completed and took its place as one of the capital city's most fashionable mansions—a "Florentine villa in the midst of American independence."
