We are still on for all of our reunion events, despite the anticipation of wet weather. Please visit our website for the latest updates www.alumni.upenn.edu/alumniweekend.

30th Class Reunion in May 12-15, 2017

Mark your calendars now and join your classmates back at Penn to celebrate our 30th Reunion. Online Event Registration is open.

Follow Penn Class of 1987 on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

More than 467 of your classmates have joined our Facebook group. Connect with old friends and join in conversation about our upcoming reunion. Join the group.

We will be posting news and photos throughout the year on Twitter. Follow us at Penn Class of 1987. Tweet using @UPennClass1987, and include #UPenn87 in your tweets.

If you believe Facebook or Twitter isn't your thing, please consider joining the "Penn Class of 1987" LinkedIn page. It is less robust, but it will contain important information.

Volunteer!

Our 30th Reunion will be our biggest (and best) yet - but only with your help. We have lots to do!  We are still looking for volunteers to be on our Planning and Outreach Committee, and our Gift Committee. Both committees can use whatever amount of help you can provide. It's a chance to reconnect even before we are together on campus - and hopefully help us break some attendance records. Additionally, we are looking to hold a few Pre-Reunion Events in various locations around the country. Please let us know if you are interested by clicking here or email Shari Beck or Karen Hamilton.

Class Gift

Our reunion is a time to come together as a class and commemorate our Penn experiences through philanthropy. Every dollar raised means ensuring the ongoing health of Penn, and your personal gift is your vote of confidence in your alma mater.

Our Class Gift, with a goal of $5.5m and 550 donors, will support The Penn Fund, our class project, and financial aid. The Penn Fund is the University’s undergraduate unrestricted annual giving program. Gifts to The Penn Fund are immediately directed to the areas of the University that need support the most. These areas most often include student financial aid, residential experience, student life & academic support, and special University initiatives. A portion of this support will fund our class project, The Class of 1987 Seminar Room in the New College House, an intimate setting in this stunning new dorm building for undergraduates to study, learn, and organize with classmates. A plaque in the Class of 1987 New College House Seminar Room will individually recognize all donors of $25,000 over five years or more to the reunion efforts.

Our class will also make an impact on campus through individual endowed scholarship gifts this reunion year, bolstering Dr. Gutmann’s vision of providing an accessible education to every deserving student at Penn. Since Penn’s all-grant financial aid program was launched nearly a decade ago, Penn is now the largest university in the country with an exclusively grant-aid policy for undergraduates. Penn remains committed to meeting the increasing needs of talented students, for whom and Ivy League education would not be possible without scholarship aid.

Join us today in making these goals a reality for our alma mater and the students who follow in our footsteps. For more information about supporting Penn, please contact our Class Giving Director Rachel Swartz Robinson at rachelsw@upenn.edu or 215-898-3645.  You can also make a donation or pledge a gift to the Penn Fund by clicking here.

It's easy to become a member of the Harrison Society, which recognizes alumni and friends who have named Penn as a beneficiary of a will, living trust, retirement plan or life insurance policy that benefits Penn in the future.   If you have included Penn in your will, or would like information about making a bequest or beneficiary designation of your retirement plan or life insurance to support The Penn Fund or your class scholarship, please contact Beth Delaney (215) 898-6171 or delaneye@upenn.edu, or visit www.giving.upenn.edu/gift-planning
