Penn Spectrum Weekend

September 23-25, 2016

Penn Spectrum Weekend brings together alumni for dialogue centered on issues of cultural identity. We welcome alumni and allies from all backgrounds as well as current Penn undergraduate and graduate students. The conference focuses on issues pertinent to the Black, Latinx, Native, Asian, and LGBTQ alumni and student communities.

The cost of the weekend is $100 which includes meals and drinks at some social events. We are happy to offer an early bird promo code (PSWEarly) for 50% if used by August 14, 2016. The guest rate is $50 until registration closes on September 15, 2016.

We hope you can join us for Penn Spectrum Weekend this year.

Due to catering counts the last day to request a reimbursement is Sept 15th.

Plenary Session

The 2016 Presidential Election and Diverse Communities. What would President Trump, President Clinton, or President Sanders do for you? Will Immigration reform come about? Will the Equality Act and LGBTQ protections be passed? Will #BlackLivesMatter policies be codified into state or federal law? Our signature panel will explore what is at stake for diverse populations in this country.

Open Houses

Cultural Centers will host Open Houses from 2 PM to 5 PM. Center directors will host a Q&A session during the following times. Feel free to pop in from 2 PM to 5 PM or to join the scheduled Q&A sessions at each center.
