December 2 - 9, 2017

The Art & Culture of Cuba

Spend a week immersed in Cuba’s rich culture and warm hospitality, with privileged access to its arts community. Stay at the Hotel Saratoga in Old Havana (which we will explore on a walking tour) and meet leading Cuban artists in their studios and homes and at private receptions. Travel west to spend a day in Cuba’s lush Pinar del Río province, known for its tobacco plantations and other crops. Specially arranged performances of theater, music, and dance will enhance our visit, as will lectures on Cuban history and art.
