Tudor Place is a Federal mansion in Georgetown, on a 5½-acre landscaped acres registered as a National Historic Landmark. A model of Federal-period architecture, it stood at the center of early Washington society. Our tour will feature a special focus on Women, Love and Property, examining the lives, legal status, and milieu of women through the history of the property. From the granddaughter of Martha Washington, through four generations who presided over the estate, women fulfilled traditional roles and carved new ones here through marriage, motherhood, and widowhood.

Penn is a leading educator of public policy professionals, each of whom come from diverse backgrounds in not only policy but business, engineering, and law. Some of those Quakers are enjoying retirement after serving decades-long careers while others are just completing their first internships. On Thursday July 6th, The Penn Club of DC and the Penn Wharton Public Policy Initiative (WPPI) invite both alums and current students to socialize and share stories from the field. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine while admiring breathtaking views of the Capitol Building and National Mall from the WPPI rooftop.
