A survey was conducted among all 125th Celebration participants to determine their opinions about the event activities; their interest in the University and in volunteer opportunities; and the extent to which the 125th Celebration influenced their attitudes and sense of connection to Penn.

Survey Says...

63% participated because of the historical importance of the event
42% to network with other women
40% because friends were attending
37% because of an interest in a specific panelist or discussion
33% to become reacquainted with old friends

The Celebration helped:
93% of the participants feel part of the Penn tradition
80% feel they were still an important part of the Penn community

41% indicated they were interested in volunteer opportunities at the University

53% were involved in event planning
33% volunteered to encourage attendance by calling classmates and friends
31% volunteered to serve on committees

76% indicated interest in future event participation on campus and 61% for off-campus

Over 50% wished to stay connected with other Penn women
69% were interested in on-campus alumnae events
67% anticipated attending off-campus and regional events
59% would like to receive an alumnae newsletter
