Marlboro Performance

A Music in the Pavilion Concert

For several weeks each summer, Marlboro College (Vermont) is host to the annual Marlboro Music Festival—a warm, communal, and joyous music-making gathering that joins young, aspiring musicians with legendary master-musicians. Fostering a uniquely egalitarian spirit, Marlboro pairs young professionals with mentor artists for coaching, rehearsals, and performances of chamber music. Musicians from Marlboro (the touring program) will join us on September 28 for a concert of Schubert, Webern, and Mendelssohn, and Christopher Serkin (President) will regale us with the history of Marlboro. The exhibit remains on display on the fourth floor (Ormandy Gallery) through June of 2019.
