Faculty Hosts

All Alumni tours include a Penn faculty host. Faculty hosts; often experts in a field related to the country visited; provide special lectures [usually 2-3] and informal discussions during the course of the trip. They are your University ambassadors and are always happy to speak about their research, department, or the University community at large. In the past, some faculty hosts have also arranged special behind-the-scenes tours and connected alumni with local experts in the fields of art, history, literature and politics. Every Penn faculty host fully participates in the scheduled itinerary, joining you on tour activities, excursions, and exclusive Penn Alumni receptions.
