Join PennDesign for a screening of The Phantom Tollbooth: Beyond Expectations—a documentary that playfully explores the creation, creators, lasting impact and enduring relevance of one of the most universally beloved children’s books of our time. Following the screening, we are pleased to host a panel discussion led by Leonard Marcus, children’s book historian, author, & critic, with Director Hannah Jayanti, and The Phantom Tollbooth author Norton Juster, AR’52.

Following the discussion, Leonard Marcus and Norton Juster will be available to sign copies of The Phantom Tollbooth and The Annotated Phantom Tollbooth, which will be available for sale.
