Penn Alumni Volunteer Leadership Retreat - 2019

The Penn Alumni Volunteer Leadership Retreat was held on March 1 and 2 with over 100 alumni in attendance. The weekend welcomed volunteers from the Penn Alumni Board of Directors and the committees of the Board, in addition to volunteer leaders from the Alumni Class Leadership Council, the Association of Alumnae, Regional Clubs, Multicultural Outreach, the professional schools and yPenn. The weekend not only offered an opportunity to network with each other, but also to plan upcoming projects and events that cater to the Penn alumni experience.

The event began Friday evening at the Annenberg Center for Performing Arts with a presentation from Christopher A. Gruits, Executive & Artistic Director for the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, and Robert Garland, Dance Theatre of Harlem Choreographer, followed by the World Premiere performance by the Dance Theatre of Harlem. The evening ended with a post show reception with the artists.

On Saturday March 2nd, the retreat continued with presentations from Ann Reese, Elise Betz, Emily Kernan and Hoopes Wampler. The presentations are available here.
