Breaking Boundaries and Building the Future

 January 16 - 18, 2020

Today, more than ever, the higher education sphere (both formal and informal) needs forward-thinking leaders who strive to push and break boundaries. From first-generation college-going students to innovative approaches in non-traditional educational sectors, Penn Exec Doc alumni are building the future and helping to shape the next generation of thought leaders, wherever they may be. The Breaking Boundaries and Building the Future theme for this year’s GSE Higher Education Leadership Conference is a call to action for those working to advance educational goals.

Drawing from the collective expertise of the Penn GSE alumni community, the conference will feature conversations on topics ranging from Leadership and Artificial Intelligence to Legal Matters and First-Generation College Students. The mixture of panels, keynote talks, and faculty presentations will enhance and amplify the power of the Penn Exec Doc alumni network while also addressing current topics head-on. Additionally, the conference will feature the presentation of the Zemsky Medal for Innovation in Higher Education to Dr. Amy Gutmann, the eighth President of the University of Pennsylvania, and a not to be missed fireside chat between Bob Zemsky and Dr. Gutmann.

Join us on Penn’s campus January 16 – 18, 2020, for the 15th annual Higher Education Leadership Conference as we Break Boundaries and Build the Future.
