This event will recognize the 2024 Education Alumni Award recipients, along with nominees and recipients of other annual awards given by the School (2:00–2:30 p.m.), and feature The Price of Knowledge: Exploring the Economics of Education, an engaging panel discussion with Dean Katharine Strunk, Associate Professor Rachel Baker, and Assistant Professor Ericka Weathers (2:30–3:30 p.m.). Penn GSE alum and Board of Advisors member Navin M. Valrani, W’93, GED’18, GED’22, GRD’23, CEO of Arcadia Education and the Al Shirawi Group, will moderate.

We will also honor Penn GSE alumni teachers who are celebrating at least their fifth year in the classroom. The event ends with a reception to celebrate and connect with members and friends of the Penn and Penn GSE communities.
