PennKey Help
What is a PennKey?
A PennKey is a unique identifier used to authenticate the identity of Penn students and alumni. A PennKey is a combination of a PennKey username and a PennKey password.
Why do I need a PennKey?
Your PennKey will allow you to request official transcripts, login to AirPennNet (campus wifi), access
MyPenn (formerly QuakerNet), and register for events. PennKey authentication is also used to access volunteer portals such as the Penn Alumni Interview Program portal and MVP.
I don't know if I have a PennKey.

PennKey Password Guidelines
PennKey passwords are highly secure authentication tools, used by Penn students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Therefore, your PennKey password will typically be the most complex password you use.
If you created your password before 8/4/2015, it will likely be eight or more characters long, with a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Beginning on 8/4/2015, PennKey passwords longer than 20 characters may also be entirely lowercase letters, usually as a combination of four random words (e.g., boldaugustpretzelcloud). For more information about PennKey passwords, please review the University's PennKey Password Rules.
